Lazy Mom’s Guide to Easter

Easter is just around the corner, and it totally surprised me! I just bought some Easter candy and some basket fillers. I thought of some fun last minute ideas to make Easter special even if you forgot the Reese’s Eggs. JK no one forgets the Reese’s Eggs… I probably ate them all!

My first idea is to look for basket stuffers that you can easily make at home! Play Dough, melting crayons into new shapes, putting snacks you already have in cute bags, or printing coloring pages off online to make a customized coloring book. I also think it would be fun to make some sugar cookies to add in, or put your Easter cookie cutters in their baskets with a note saying you’ll make cookies that afternoon!

My next idea is a cut file for some bunny ears! I added them to some clips for my daughter’s hair, but it would be cute on an basket or on a headband that you already have around. Here are my pictures.

I also have a cut file for some egg paper pouches that are so fun! I saw the idea on Pinterest and made a few. They would be so cute for an Easter Egg hunt or in a basket. I have two versions. One is great for holding small candy like jelly beans and the other is a pocket that will be perfect for Reese’s Eggs. I used hot glue to put mine together, but staples would work well too.

The last idea I had was to make some bunny foot prints! I have a printable and cut file so that you can have them to!

Look how cute!
