I went to Michael’s yesterday to pick up shirts I was making for a friend. I saw the CUTEST bunny cheese board. I knew I wanted it, but it quickly grew into a need when I found out it was only $10. You know how these things go. So I scooped it up and made my way home to figure out how to make the best flower bunny charcuterie board possible. I knew I wanted to use my laser, but I was torn, because it would also be so cute in vinyl. #crafterproblems

Before I get into all the details–here’s a quick back story–my family ALWAYS makes homemade cheeseballs for Christmas and Easter. It’s a tradition we do not skip. And as the current resident cheeseball maker, I just knew this board would be perfect for that (especially when I found the little Easter Bunny cheese spreader minutes later). So, if you love charcuterie or cheeseball for holidays, then you need this board! And maybe if enough people buy this board, Michael’s will sponsor me. My crafting dream.
My Free Flower Bunny Charcuterie Board SVG File

When I saw this board, I envisioned flowers on the bottom for that perfect springtime touch. I decided it would be best to use my laser (but it’s totally do-able with your Silhouette/Cricut too)!
I also should tell you that I uploaded this file for FREE to anyone on my email list in my freebie library here.

If you don’t have a laser, then you can buy the bunny at Michael’s, and then use the SVG cut file to cut the flowers out of vinyl.
If you have a laser, then you can cut the bunny out of your own wood (if you can’t find it at Michael’s) AND you can engrave the flowers on too! A win-win.
How I Engraved my Flower Bunny Charcuterie Board
I used my Glowforge Pro to engrave it, and it took 53 minutes on Medium Basswood Plywood SD engrave settings.
It is a weird in between thickness for the GlowForge. So it’s too tall to leave the crumb tray in, but it’s too short to engrave without adding boards underneath. I stacked up 4 1/8” pieces of wood underneath to get it to the right height.
Then, I lined it up by putting it in the GlowForge and setting the focus (in the drop down menu at the top). Then, I used that camera image to line up the design. It only went off the board in one little area.
If you’re having a hard time getting the engraving to line up perfectly, then you should refer to your GlowForge for tips on calibrating your camera (or you can use my file with the engrave and cut to make a wood sign and not have to worry about lining it up at all)!
After I got it out, it did have a few char marks (as to be expected), so I just cleaned it with a scrub brush and water in my kitchen sink.
Then, to make it food safe, I put the Butcher Block Conditioner on! Super easy and I love how it turned out!

Other Easter SVG Files
Finding files for Easter is easy, but finding ones you LOVE, can be difficult! That’s why I love making files that are easy to use and beautiful. If you need more files for your Easter celebrations, you can check out my Etsy shop here.

In my shop, you’ll find mainly laser files but some Cricut/Silhouette files too. My Easter bunny linked earrings have been such a hit lately that I highly recommend them.
If you’ve made them, make sure to leave me a review, so I know what you think.

I also have these FREE bunny tags in my freebie library too that are great for paper makers!
Enjoy your crafting this Easter. I hope you have the best time with family and friends.
